Office Consultations

During the medical consultation, the doctor gets to know the details of your symptoms in the context of your prior medical and surgical history.  We strive to get to you know you, your symptoms as well as your prior treatments, your life style and your family history.   A complete physical examination is performed followed by a discussion of your symptoms, possible diagnoses and any possible tests or procedure that may be needed to aid in your diagnosis to formulate a treatment plan.  You may ask questions.  The doctor welcomes your input and preferences in formulating testing and treatments to ensure that you are most comfortable with all plans.

 

Inpatient Admissions and Consultations

Some medical conditions are severe and require admission to the hospital.  Dr. Mehdizadeh is an attending physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and cares for hospitalized patients on a daily basis.   Our office can arrange for admissions when medical conditions are complex.  Dr. Mehdizadeh is also consulted by other physicians to evaluate and manage hospital patients with advanced or complex diseases.  We also perform emergency procedures when needed.  Dr. Mehdizadeh specializes in the treatment of disorders of digestive system including the intestines, colon, liver and pancreas.  He has extensive clinical experience and has successfully performed thousands of endoscopic procedures.
